Description
The traditional Fartón is the most iconic sweet to accompany Valencian horchata. Its elongated shape and its soft, light, fluffy dough are designed to absorb horchata perfectly, creating a unique and refreshing combination.
Made following the original recipe of traditional Valencian pastry, the Fartón is baked to achieve a tender texture and topped with its characteristic sweet glaze, which provides the perfect balance in every bite.
Perfect for breakfast, afternoon snacks, or after a meal, the traditional Fartón is much more than just a sweet: it is part of Valencian gastronomic culture.
Ideal with horchata, coffee, or hot chocolate, and for sharing one of the most authentic flavours of the Mediterranean.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, water, sugar, sunflower oil, pasteurised egg, compressed yeast, dehydrated sourdough (wheat flour), emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, salt, egg albumin powder (sugar, dried egg albumin), flavouring. May contain traces of milk, nuts, peanuts, soya and mustard. Store in a cool, dry place.
